About Sensei Pacer
“A teacher—above all”
Sensei Pacer is a fifth degree master of Karate. His dojo trains students in a martial arts that Sensei refers to as QuanFa which simply means “Martial Arts" to him and his students. It is a merger of styles that serves his students well. As a student of Master Sensei Pacer, you'll learn to be an artist, not a fighter. You'll learn to express yourself through martial arts and movement.
Above all, Sensei Pacer is a teacher. His broad experience allows him to truly give students a unique perspective on martial arts and how they can learn to optimize every aspect of their lives through it.
Sensei teaches a wide variety of arts, including, but not limited to:
- 4', 5' & 6' wooden staff
- 28" wooden jo stick (Escrima)
- Palm stick (8")
- Chinese Sai
- Okinawa Kama
- Sensei Pacer style nunchakus
- Knife skills to live by
- Samurai katana swords
- His personal favorite: 9mm pistol
- Self defense with the household ink pen
- Joint locks of the world (the seizing arts)
- Takedowns (one second they're standing, the next they are not...but you are)
- Breakholds - so they want to grab you? Sensei shows you how to prevent it
- Punches and kicks are still the kings of the self-defense world - and still great fun!
- Throws. If you still think you need them, Sensei shows you how to use them
But what he really teaches are ways to express and improve yourself through martial arts.
